Abstract
Recently a Coincidence Doppler Broadening (CDB) setup has been installed at RMO/LHMA (room
69) to be used to determine the chemical environment of the vacancy type defects. This setup is being
dedicated to neutron post-irradiation examination. Thus, the setup has been shielded, optimised and calibrated
to improve the signal to background ratio and to minimize the radiation pile-up in the detectors.
This report gives technical details about the sources, the samples, the setup, the analyzing and the interpretation
of the data coming out of the Coincidence Doppler Broadening of Annihilation Radiation
experiment.
