Abstract

In this thesis work the design of the liquid metal pool experiment E-SCAPE has been supported by the use of similarity theories and system code calculations with RELAP. The E-SCAPE facility is a thermal-hydraulic scaled model of the MYRRHA reactor and will address key phenomena relevant for liquid metal cooled reactors.
